Lots to do.

I am finally making some headway on my to-do's! I use Cozi to keep track of them all, and it's awesome! The to-do list doesn't seem quite as daunting when it's digital - I get the feeling that if it were all on paper, I would feel much more overwhelmed...

That being said, there are lots of irons in the fire right now, so I'm trying to keep focused and just do one thing at a time. My goal is to try to cross at least one thing off the list each day.  It's a particularly helpful strategy, since I seem to add one or two things to the list every day!

Anyhow, this is what I'm working on at the moment - getting some baby washcloths posted to my shop.  I've been doing a great job of getting my finished quilts photographed and posted, but some of the smaller items I've been making have languished!

In the meanwhile, I'm about to get this project finished up!

  1. I am going to have to check out that app. I keep all my to-dos in my head, which gets a bit stressful. I love your pinwheel quilt! The colors are so easy on the eye! Thank you for linking up to WIP Wednesday!

  3. Ah--those colors of that quilt! I'm in love!

I have tried many systems to keep track of my projects, and I think a digital version might be helpful, too. I'll have to check it out.

I read through some of your blog (just found you today on WIP Wednesday) and enjoyed a lot of your comments--esp that you are also a fan of Sherlock Holmes. I almost bought both seasons yesterday at Costco. I may go back and get them, because who can pass up on those guys? So much better than any past versions of this duo.

I talked about The Angler on my blog, a tool that helps you sew HST--that might also help with you with the gap that eats your triangles. I love mine and throw it on whenever I have some HSTs to sew--like this summer.

I noticed that you live not too far from my daughter (well, you're in the same Metro area, and glad to get the name of a good quilt shop for when I go and visit her). She also has kept me up to date on the horrid heat. I think they've scheduled a trip out here to SoCal, where we are about 20 degrees cooler in August, but we still think it's horrid too! (But not like yours.)

Okay, enough typing for one comment. Just hi, and your blog is fun to read, and LOVE THAT QUILT!

  8. Doesn't it feel good to cross things off your list?!? Sometimes I write things on my list that I've just done so I can cross them off!
