Next up...

Now that Later, Alligator! is finally done and shipped off to the lovely woman who commissioned it, I get to focus on the next custom quilt that's up on my list!  The timing worked out perfectly, since the fabric for the new quilt arrived just as I was washing up the one I had just finished.

It's a verrrrry early stage WIP right now, since I'm in the planning and cutting stage.  I've made this particular pattern a bunch of times, but usually start from a charm pack.  This customer sent me yardage, so I have a little more work to do, but the fabric is so yummy that I really don't mind extra time petting it.

Since these two custom orders have come along, my other WIP's have gotten pushed off a bit.  However, I'm treating myself to a three day weekend this (starting in 30 hours, but who's counting?), so I'm optimistic that I'll be getting back to one of them within a few days.  The pattern for the custom that I'm working on is a fun and easy one to do, so it should be wrapped up very quickly.  My plan is to get to the patchwork chevron quilt that's been ready to sandwich and quilt up for ages now.  It's a gift for a wedding, and I believe the bride and groom are already home from their honeymoon..... and have been for 3 months.  Oops.  It's the thought that counts, right?

Please unfold me and quilt me up!  Thankyouverymuch.
