A not-so-sewy WIP

This is the WIP I've been working on this week.... see that new page at the top of my blog?  "Other Great Tutorials" ?  There are so many fabulous tutorials out there, and they've helped me greatly as I've learned and explored more about how to piece together blocks.  My only beef is that I have to do the math sometimes to figure out how to make them work with pre-cuts, and when I go back to use the technique again a few months later, I have inevitably forgotten the math I did before.

This page doesn't seek to reinvent the tutorials - the techniques are great on their own!  It's mostly just so that I can keep track of the math I've already done, and hopefully it can be helpful for others, too!  Check it out and let me know what you think!  Also, if there are blocks/tutorials out there that you'd love to see the pre-cut math done for, let me know and I'll add them - I see this being a great, ongoing WIP!

  1. Great idea. I'm always trying to do quilt math and I'd rather be spending my time sewing. Keep adding them.
