Pinning away on a Friday night.

Strawberry Fields by Fig Tree Quilts for Moda
Fridays are de-stress days around here.  It's the one night each week that the hubby and I unabashedly have take-out of some kind for dinner.  There's usually some mindless web surfing, and yes, even awful Facebook game playing.

But once I've ensured that the 9-5 J-O-B part of my brain is fully disengaged for the weekend, thoughts turn to what I can accomplish on the weekend.  I usually don't start actually doing anything until Saturday morning, so part of Friday night is spent doing planning and surfing for some inspiration.

Of course, this means Pinterest.  Yup, looking around for ideas as to what to cook this weekend, funny pics and whatnot to get me in a good mood for the weekend, and of course, what to sew for the weekend.  I fell in love with Pinterest from the moment I saw it - the perfect spot to keep track of all those quilts I want to make one day!

Moda Bake Shop

When Moda Bake Shop announced the Love It, Pin It, Win It! Challenge, I immediately thought, "No problem.  I got this."  A huge number of the pins on my quilt board are already from MBS!  Some of these quilts are actually in the hopper, and some are still just glimmers of a plan for the future.  But there's one quilt that I pinned last year, and it's by far my favorite.

I've made four versions of this quilt, and have plans to make several more!  The Pinwheel Baby Quilt is simply perfection.  Here are a couple of the versions I've made:

Secret Garden by Robyn Pandolph for Moda
Amelia by Me and My Sister for Moda
Strawberry Fields by Fig Tree Quilts for Moda

Can't wait to see which of the other quilts I've pinned will be my new favorite!

By the way, if you're a fan of Moda Bake Shop, I might just have something for you to see there very soon.... squee!  Happy Friday, party people!
