Sorry for the blog silence... it's just been one of those kinds of weeks! Work has been an absolute drain, so of course, there really hasn't been much sewing going on during the week itself. I managed to get some work done on my Easy Street, though, over the weekend! I finished up both the A and B blocks, so all the piecing is done! Had to throw them up on the design wall to see how it's looking...
.... and I'm loving it! I'm now in the process of getting the rows sewn together, and will have that done this weekend. I'm hoping that I can figure out what kind of border to throw on there, too, and get that part done. Might have to go shopping for the right fabric - oh, shucks!
Can't wait to show you another update this weekend!

Wonderful job Sarah and great colors.
ReplyDeleteI saw your beautiful quilt picture on my favorites list and just had to see what pattern it was- so funny because I just finished my own "Easy Street" but didn't recognize it in different colors!
ReplyDeleteThis quilt is fantastic! The way you placed the colors makes the blocks look so animated!
ReplyDeleteThat is looking so good! I love the fabrics/colors you have picket.
ReplyDeleteI love your colour choice and can't wait to see the finished top........love it !
